Viktorie Hanišová was born in 1980 and studied English and German Studies at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague. In addition to her writer’s career, she translates from German (books by S. Batthyany, D. Hansen, M. Vischer, P. Winkler and others) and English (e.g. Z.
